The existing community of West Park in the City of Ft. Saskatchewan required an expansion to their existing reservoir.
This expansion disrupted an existing pedestrian corridor and plant beds. The landscape rehabilitation plan included replacing the equivalent quantity and variety of plant materials removed during excavation for the reservoir, as well as trail replacement.
A post and rail fence was added along the sides of the reservoir to keep vehicles from accessing the reservoir. A timber retaining wall was added to the north corner to ensure slopes do not interfere with the pedestrian pathway. Our Urban Planning and Design team was responsible for design, drawing production, tender documents, and construction administration.
