Melville Asset Management Plan

The City engaged Associated Engineering to provide asset management training to their management team, conduct a thorough review of their existing business processes, and develop an action plan that would form a road map for improvement.

In conjunction with the Asset Management Action Plan, the project team developed the City’s first integrated AMP based on the Ontario Guidelines for Municipal Asset Management Plans. It highlights major infrastructure issues and provides an indication of long-term investment needs to maintain a sustainable community. The AMP provides a guiding document that provides the first clear inventory of City owned assets and the expenditure liabilities of these assets.
