For several years, Associated Engineering as a prime consultant has been providing on-going assistance with the Instrumentation and Controls operations of the Fort McMurray Wastewater Treatment Facility and Lift Stations within the RMWB.
This work included the control system design, PLC and SCADA programming and equipment upgrades with minimal impact to operations.
Support and upgrades work has included:
- PLC, SCADA and operational support since facility commissioning in 2009 through monthly on-site visits
- Implementation of HACH WIMs laboratory software and integration with SCADA Historian
- WWTP – New Septage Receiving Station PLC & HMI programming
- Lift Station – PLC, HMI and backup controller design, programming, and commissioning
- Plant PLC Upgrades Design – ACP-14, -23 and -52
