Associated completed the environmental screening and clearance reporting required for Enbridge’s Integrity Dig Program on Line 21 from Norman Wells, NT to Zama, AB.
Associated visited the proposed dig sites to record pre-disturbance conditions and investigate features that could trigger a territorial or federal regulation. Based on the environmental screening, a clearance report was developed detailing soil salvage, handling, and storage requirements for the construction crew to follow.
After construction, Associated completed a post-reclamation survey for each screened site, which entailed soil and vegetation monitoring. A post-reclamation assessment report was prepared for each site, which was provided to the First Nation communities and other stakeholders in the surrounding areas.
