Associated completed an environmental assessment of the infiltration pit in Ross River, YT.
The project was conducted in preparation for decommissioning of the pit, which is being replaced with a new wastewater facility. Associated was tasked with assessing for potential contamination of the environment surrounding the infiltration pit, and recommending remedial actions. The project team completed a data gap analysis and analyzed soil and groundwater samples for potential contamination and used this information to develop a remedial action plan for decommissioning the site.
