Associated Environmental completed Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and a compliance audit at the Great Glacier Salmon processing plant site and camp on behalf of the Talhtan Indian Band.
The contaminated site assessment was required to assess the risks and potential liability associated with the plant, camp and its related infrastructure, including a micro-hydropower plant. Analytical results were compared to federal Canadian Council of the Ministers of the Environment guidelines and provincial Contaminated Sites Regulations land use soil standards, as well as Drinking Water and Aquatic Life standards for groundwater. Our study was used to confirm quality of the property lands prior to a transfer of property ownership.
