The Christina Lake Regional Project is centrally located among the main commercial “in situ” oil sands developments of the Athabasca oil sands region.
Associated Engineering served as the program manager and engineers for the supporting infrastructure for the Christina Lake Regional Oil Sands Project.
We provided multi-discipline services for the planning, program management, civil, electrical and mechanical engineering of a variety of camp infrastructure facilities including roads, high voltage power, communications, accommodations, new terminal and operations support buildings, water, sewage, and the Christina Lake Airstrip. The airstrip scope of work included the runway concept plan, detailed design, advanced earthworks design, utilities, aerodrome registration and weather station facility design.
