Pansy Lau

Manager, Proposals
Pansy has 15 years of experience in water resources engineering, focusing in hydraulic and hydrological modelling of surface and sanitary systems, including separate and combined sewer improvement schemes and catchment wide master development plans. She has worked on infrastructure systems in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong.
For the past 12 years, Pansy has been focusing on proposals and business development. She now leads the Proposals Group in Vancouver, and is responsible for proposals and marketing material development, proposals process development, and providing proposal training to staff.
ON CAREER GROWTH
Proposal work is fast paced and varied. In my role, I work with different disciplines and learn about many facets of engineering. I also get to develop my creative side and work with layouts and graphics. I have access to great mentors who support my journey. I am also blessed to be working with a talented and dedicated team with diverse skill sets and backgrounds, which allows me constantly take on new challenges.
ON WORK/LIFE BALANCE
In my free time, I take advantage of living here in beautiful British Columbia, be it hiking and cycling in the summer, or enjoying an epic powder day snowboarding in the winter.
