Associated Engineering announces succession in technical leadership team

Two of our long-serving technical leaders, John Fussell, Senior Vice President, Transportation, and Herb Kuehne, Senior Vice President, Civil Infrastructure, retire tomorrow from full-time service, after many decades of working for Associated Engineering. John and Herb will continue to provide advice to clients and staff on a part-time or as-needed basis. We thank John and Herb for their leadership and contributions to the company over the years. We wish them both a long and happy retirement.

Kerry Rudd, President & CEO, is pleased to announce that Alan Emery has accepted the role of Senior Vice President, Transportation, and Chris Skowronski will take on the role of Senior Vice President, Infrastructure. Alan and Chris will provide business development and technical guidance to our staff, and technical support to our clients across Canada.

Alan is a Senior Transportation Engineer with more than 35 years of experience across Canada and in the United Kingdom. He specializes in the design of highways, roadways, and pathways, and brings experience in alternate delivery.

A Senior Civil Engineer, Chris has 29 years of experience in municipal infrastructure and land development. Chris specializes in pipeline design, including infrastructure renewal and trenchless technologies.

Alan and Chris look forward to working with our clients to develop resilient and sustainable solutions, and build better communities.
