Ian serves as an outside director on Associated Engineering’s Senior Board of Directors. He previously served as President of Finning (Canada) for 11 years, retiring in 2008 after 30 years with the firm. He helped the company become one of the largest and most successful Caterpillar equipment distributors in the world. Ian serves on a number of boards, including the Canadian Western Bank Group and Fountain Tire. Ian was also a member of the Provincial Audit Committee for the Province of Alberta. Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan, and has completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
